Baby It's Cold Outside! We haven't gotten our first snowfall yet this year here at Pine River Ranch; but these beautiful winter pictures taken by one of our favorite wedding photographers Saskia Mizushima had to be shared! 

 A fresh blanket of fallen snow paints the most gorgeous scenery imaginable here at Pine River Ranch in Leavenworth, Washington. 

The icicle lights hanging from the roof of the main house look beautiful and festive during the holiday season. Featured Bed and Breakfast Suite: Ponderosa

Pine River Ranch Bed and Breakfast is located in Leavenworth, Washington and is home to 6 beautiful bed and breakfast suites. The Ponderosa Suite shares a cabin with the Lodgepole Suite and both are located away from the main house for the ultimate getaway in privacy, luxury and seclusion. The large, open floorplan and vaulted ceilings of the Ponderosa Suite make this room a popular choice for a cozy cabin feel.

Situated above the hand made log bed on the vaulted ceiling is a small skylight that lets in just enough of the sunrise light to wake up to in the morning feeling refreshed, relaxed and like there is not a care in the world. Guests always remark that they love waking up to the soft lighting of the sunrise and that is something they can't get in the city. 

 The handmade log bed is not the focal point of this cabin suite, to get the best view, you simply have to step outside onto your private deck made for two. 

Pine River Ranch is located on 22 private acres. In the winter, grab a blanket and cuddle up outside on your private deck and enjoy your morning coffee and the snowfall. In the summer, sample the wonderful local wines from Leavenworth and enjoy the amazing view you can't find anywhere else. You can also grab a picnic lunch and take our 1/2 mile scenic "hike" to Nason Creek and enjoy the waterfront access.

Each Suite at Pine River Ranch BnB features 2 person jacuzzi spas. Enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi bath after a long day skiing, shopping or wine tasting!

September is a busy month in Leavenworth, and it doesn't slow down in October either! If you are planning a trip to Pine River Ranch Bed and Breakfast, there is plenty to do besides enjoy the luxurious amenities of your private cabin suite. Leavenworth Wine Walk, September 13th, 2014

This 6 hour event is a day made in heaven for a wine loving couple! Enjoy tasting up to 60 different wines as you stroll through shops, galleries and restaurants in down town Leavenworth. Your wine walk passport also gets you a bottle tote, walking map, discount coupons and prizes. You can also relax in the town center at the Gazebo and enjoy live music throughout the day. This event is a fundraiser for the Cascade Farmlands Association which helps promote culinary and ag-tourism in North Central Washington. A win-win situation, drinking wine for a good cause!

Wenatchee River Salmon Festival, Sept 20th-22nd, 2014

Join thousands of people in the 24th annual Wenatchee River Salmon Festival, a celebration for the return of the salmon. The festival is a three day natural resource education event held at the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery. This event is free and a great "edutainment" event. 

Autumn Leaf Festival and Parade, Sept 26th-28th, 2014

The Autumn Leaf Festival and Parade is the longest running festival in Leavenworth. There is a grand parade, live music, pie eating contests, pumpkin throwing contests and more! As with any event in Leavenworth, come hungry and thirsty because there is plenty to indulge!

 Oktoberfest, October 3-4, 10-11 & 17-18, 2014

Perhaps one of Leavenworth's biggest attractions is the world famous Oktoberfest. Join as the town of Leavenworth throws a celebration to rival that of Munich, Germany. The food is plentiful, the bratwursts are cooking and the music is playing! If you have not yet been to Leavenworth for an Oktoberfest celebration, now is the time to experience the fun!

Winter Wedding | Pine Cones, Evergreen Trees, Peonies

Welcome to Joe & Kelsey's Beautiful winter wedding! I figured we'd better sneak this wedding in before we get too far into spring time! Joe & Kelsey had a gorgeous wedding reception on December 28th here at Pine River Ranch, and held their stunning ceremony at the Plain Community Church. Although there wasn't a blanket of fresh fallen snow, everything turned out just perfect and we were so happy to be a part of their big day.

The white bouquets were so elegant and the perfect winter flower with the touches of evergreen tree branches.

 The girls chose to get ready in one of the Bed and Breakfast cabin suites on the property, I love the matching robes!

On their drive into Plain for the wedding ceremony, they stopped to snap this neat photo on one of the many bridges crossing over Nason Creek.

The ceremony was held at the Plain Community Church.

The pine cone and evergreen tree theme carried on throughout the decor. We love the unique pine cone seating cards.

Leavenworth Wedding | Ombre Bridesmaids Dresses & Red Bowties

Welcome to Jamie and Kevin's summer wedding at Pine River Ranch. If you are hungry, I would stop reading now! The dessert bar by TSP Bakery and dinner of seasonal fresh food will make your mouth water! 

The weather for Jamie and Kevin's August wedding was just perfect. The ombre style bridesmaids dresses in reds and pinks, along with the warm colors of the florals by Bug Girls Garden complemented the natural beauty at Pine River Ranch and made their big day picture perfect. 

 Jamie's friends helped with her hair and make-up for their wedding day and did a great job of complimenting Jamie's natural beauty.

Photographer Terra Nyce did a great job of capturing this beautiful shot of Jamie.

 I love the touch of color in Jamie's peach necklace, and it coordinates beautifully with the flowers and bridesmaids dresses.

I love Braden peaking around the corner and looking ever so dapper matching the groomsmen. 

 I love that the ring bearer Braden held onto the fishing pole through the whole ceremony! What a great job he did!

 Doesn't this dessert bar make your mouth water! Macaroons, Mexican Wedding Cake, Peanut Butter Cookies, Jelly Bellies and that beautiful cake! 

The "hooked" cake topper was perfect for the avid fishermen.
