Shared Little Moments...

As the calender flipped from July 31st to August 1st we found ourselves halfway through summer wondering where the time went! Even in the beautiful country surrounded by gurgling creeks, vast meadows and star filled night skies it is so easy to get caught up in the chaos of a busy schedule and forget to stop and enjoy the breathtaking beauty around us everyday, in scenery, in love, in friendship and in family.

The wonderful thing about our "job" here is that we get to share so many special moments where people are stopped in time and reminded of the love, joy and excitement in their lives. We often catch a quick glimpse of a look, a smile or a kind word with each and every family that comes to Pine River Ranch, whether it is the sheer joy on the face of a bride and groom as they turn to walk down the aisle together and celebrate the beginning of a lifetime, or the silent smile of contentment and adoring love on one of the many couples who come celebrating their 20th, 30th, 40th anniversary and so on here at Pine River Ranch.

I am so blessed that we are able to offer a retreat for people to come and enjoy special moments that can rejuvenate us from our busy lives. It is not everyday that we are lucky enough to drop our hectic daily schedule and surround ourselves with serenity, wilderness and most of all timeless love. Take the extra minute today to stop and say "I love you" or "Thank you" and truly mean it, because as we all witness everyday, time goes by way to fast!
