"Real Weddings" Molly and Josh

Friday night Josh and Molly had a great rehearsal followed by an evening dinner outside on our wedding lawn in the cool shade of the large ponderosa pine trees on the West side of the barn. The shade, and the light breeze was just enough so the 90 degree weather was very comfortable. A large part of the wedding party and families finished out the evening enjoying 'evening' beverages on the front porch of the Ranch House, till the dark hours of night rolled in.

Saturday was the perfect day for their wedding, the cloudy morning lifted into a sunny afternoon and the weather was perfect, the lawns are beautiful, and the flowers are exploding with color.

The guest recieved a great suprise when Molly made her grand entrance, she was delivered Bareback by Vivy the horse, directly to the ceremony.
Although I do love horses here at the Ranch and think Vivy is quite beautiful, Molly did outshine her in her stunning dress!
(I don't have a photographer to thank for these shots because I quickly snapped them myself, so Molly and Josh, when you get your photos back I would love some images by the professionals to feature!)

The perfect evening continued after the ceremony as we all had hordouvres, and refreshments on the lawns around the barn. As the evening progressed we all moved up into the barn for the dinner supplied by a favorite local catering company Ravenous Catering. From that point on it was toasts, celebrations, music, dancing, cake, and throwing of a few items to awaiting single persons.

Now a quiet week to recover and a few more projects to finish up here at Pine River Ranch. We are building privacy screens and deck awnings on the private porches of Nason, Natapoc, Lodgepole and Ponderosa suites. I almost forgot to mention that the lawns around the Waterfall and pond have come up and we shall have more mowable lawns in the near future!
